Chem Chem Safari offers a collection of luxury safari lodges in northern Tanzania, nestled between Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara. Founded by Fabia Bausch and Nicolas Negre, Chem Chem is renowned for its “Slow Safari” philosophy, emphasizing immersive, unhurried experiences that connect guests deeply with nature and local culture.

1. Chem Chem Lodge
   Located on the edge of Lake Manyara, this 5-star lodge features eight spacious tented suites, including a family suite. Amenities include a pool, spa, library, and dining areas, all designed to blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings. Guests can enjoy activities like walking safaris, Maasai cultural experiences, and sundowners by the lake.

2. Little Chem Chem
   Situated near Lake Burunge, this vintage-style tented camp offers five luxury tents and one family tent, accommodating up to 12 adults and 2 children. The camp provides intimate wildlife encounters, including game drives and walking safaris in a private concession.

3. Forest Chem Chem
   An exclusive-use camp nestled under a canopy of trees, Forest Chem Chem offers four luxury tents, making it ideal for families or small groups seeking privacy. Guests can dine under ancient baobabs, enjoy open-fire cooking, and fall asleep to the sounds of the African night.

🌍 Conservation & Community Impact

Chem Chem Safari manages a 20,000-hectare (50,000-acre) private wildlife concession that serves as a vital corridor between Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks. Through the Chem Chem Association, the organization actively engages in conservation efforts, anti-poaching initiatives, and community development projects, including education and infrastructure support in surrounding villages.
