About Company
The Tanzania Meteorological Authority (TMA) is the national agency responsible for providing and regulating weather and climate services across Tanzania. Established under the Meteorological Authority Act No. 2 of 2019, TMA succeeded the Tanzania Meteorological Agency, which was originally formed in 1999. The agency operates under the Ministry of Transport and is headquartered in Dodoma.

Subsequently, the Directorate of Meteorology was established, eventually evolving into the current TMA.
