HISTORY
HISTORY MDH evolved from the former Harvard-PEPFAR program in Tanzania which was a collaboration of Harvard school of public Health(USA), Dar es Salaam City council and Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS). This collaboration worked with the government to provide HIV care and treatment services starting from Dar es salaam region in 2004 and later expanding to other regions in Tanzania
AREAS OF FOCUS
MDH’s work is primarily in public health service and research in Tanzania and the world at large. MDH seeks to mobilize and engage a team of skilled, experienced and motivated Tanzanian professionals to work in collaboration with the government and with other local and international experts to address public health priorities through evidence based interventions.
