TARURA

The Tanzania Rural and Urban Roads Agency (TARURA) is a government executive agency under the President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG). Established in 2017, TARURA is responsible for the development and maintenance of rural and urban roads across Tanzania. Its mission is to provide sustainable and cost-effective road infrastructure to support the country’s social and economic development.
