About the Location

Located in the Central Serengeti, just a 45-minute drive from Seronera Airstrip, the Lodge opened under the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts family in December 2012. It features:

Basic Purpose
The IT Manager is responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of all computer systems, data, and voice communications activities at the property. This includes forecasting technology needs, managing upgrades, ensuring data security, and executing corporate IT strategies to enhance operational effectiveness and guest service.
Essential Functions
- Ensure the 24/7 availability of critical systems, including the Front Office Property Management System, Call Accounting, HSIA, PABX, and F&B Point of Sale systems.
- Establish and maintain user procedures, system documentation, and security protocols in accordance with corporate policies.
- Maintain accurate records of system files, hardware, software issues, and service requirements.
- Provide end-user support for all property systems, including back office, sales & catering, and HR applications.
- Manage network security, server infrastructure, Active Directory, wired and wireless networks, and backup systems.
- Administer Lotus Notes, VPN connections, and other corporate communication tools.
- Ensure compliance with Four Seasons IT Core Standards and participate in technology projects or system acquisitions.
- Provide guest-facing technical support and ensure smooth operation of technology in conference and event spaces.
- Support the Director of Finance in IT budgeting, procurement, maintenance, and vendor contract management.
Non-Essential Functions
- Recommend and implement technology improvements to enhance efficiency and guest experience.
- Lead IT contract negotiations, manage lifecycle planning, and oversee IT capital and operating budgets.
- Adopt and share best practices from other Four Seasons properties.
- Present business cases for IT expenditures and long-term capital planning.
Knowledge and Skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:

- 2–5 years of IT experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of hotel systems and operations (Opera, Delphi, POS, PMS, HR, Back Office, Spa systems).
- Network administration and troubleshooting expertise (Microsoft, Cisco, Active Directory).
- Experience with both Microsoft and Mac operating systems.
- Strong project management, budgeting, and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of IT security, data protection, and business continuity principles.
- Understanding of Four Seasons IT Core Standards and internal controls.
- Basic accounting knowledge is an advantage.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Microsoft or Cisco certifications (MCSE, CCNA, etc.).
Supervisory Responsibility: 1 direct report
Travel: Required, as applicable
Work Schedule: Flexible; may vary based on operational needs
