
General Manager at NJORECU Limited
Job Description
The successful candidate will report to the Board of Directors of NJORECU Ltd. He/ She will be the Chief Executive and general manager of all Strategic and day-to-day operational activities of the Union.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To provide direction and leadership towards achieving vision, responsibilities and strategic goals of the Union;
- To prepare Union strategic plan and manage its implementation;
- To supervise the implementation of daily activities of the Union;
- To supervise the effectiveness and efficiency implementation of long-term, mid-term and short-term plans of the Union;
- To keep the Board updated on all operational issues of the Union;
- To manage all Departments within the Union;
- To control and manage operational costs of the Union’s;
- To ensure the quarterly/annual performance reports are submitted to the Board and other legal entities as required;
- To make sure that Union resources are fully used and managed within the approved budget, guidelines, policies, laws and regulations;
- To approve payments of Union creditors and obtain valid receipts in accordance with the standards approved by the Board.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirement
- Holder of at least Bachelor in Cooperative Management, Economics, Agriculture, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or any related qualification from a recognized higher learning institution;
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience, 2 years being in senior/managerial level in a reputable organization.
