The Infrastructure Manager leads the unit, oversees the bank’s IT infrastructure, and ensures alignment with strategic goals. This role includes both managerial and technical responsibilities to support the team.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Infrastructure Unit, providing strategic direction and ensuring alignment with the bank’s IT strategy.
• Develop, implement, and enforce policies, procedures, and best practices for infrastructure management.
• Oversee the performance, scalability, and security of the bank’s IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Plan and execute infrastructure-related projects, including upgrades, expansions, and automation initiatives.
• Provide technical support to team members when needed, ensuring smooth operations and quick resolution of issues.
• Ensure effective operation of the primary data center and disaster recovery site, maintain data integrity through effective backup and recovery solutions
• Ensure each sub-unit within the Infrastructure Unit has a continuity plan in place to address staff unavailability.
• Establish and monitor SLAs with the MSP to ensure optimal service delivery.
• Prepare and manage the unit’s budget, ensuring cost-efficiency while meeting operational needs.
• Conduct regular performance reviews for team members, identify skill gaps, and facilitate professional development.
• Coordinate with other IT units and departments to ensure efficient integration of infrastructure services.
• Oversee the adoption and integration of cloud technologies, ensuring optimal utilization and cost management
