Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i.To assist in slaughtering animals;
ii.To assist in cutting the meat;
iii.To assist in inspecting the meat to ensure that it is safe for consumption;
iv.To assist in packaging the meat;
v.To assist in processing it into other products such as sausage or lunch meats;
vi.To deliver processed meat to stores;
vii.To assist in selling the meat and its products to customers; and
viii.To perform any other official duties as may be assigned by the immediate Supervisor.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Holder of Diploma (NTA Level 6) in one of the following fields; Meat Processing, Meat Technology, Meat Processing and Food Safety, Meat Science and Technology or equivalent Qualification from recognised Institution.
