Job Description

  • Description:
    • Qualifications and Experience: Candidates must hold a Form IV or Form VI certificate, a Diploma or NTA Level 6 in Records Management or Law from a recognized institution, and computer skills.
    • Duties and Responsibilities:
      • General Duties:
        • Record incoming and outgoing correspondence in registers.
        • Distribute files to officers.
        • Receive files returned from officers.
        • Return files to storage cabinets.
        • Track file circulation within the institution.
      • Court-Related Duties:
        • Receive documents or letters related to opening criminal and civil cases.
        • Prepare summons for criminal and civil cases.
        • Compile weekly case lists and maintain ongoing case files.
  • Work Station: Judiciary of Tanzania (Mahakama ya Tanzania), with assignments to various regions and districts based on available vacancies.

HOW TO APPLY

  • Write an application letter addressed to the Secretary, Judicial Service Commission, P.O. Box 2705, Dodama.
  • Upload the following certified documents:
    • Academic certificates and transcripts (Form IV/VI, Diploma or NTA Level 6).
    • Birth certificate.
    • National Identification Authority (NIDA) ID.
    • Recent passport-size photo.
    • Additional documents as required by the application form, depending on the position.
  • Ensure certificates from foreign institutions are verified by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) or the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE).
