The Tanzania National Examinations Council (NECTA) has officially released the Matokeo ya Kidato cha sita 2025 for candidates from Zanzibar, reporting an outstanding pass rate of 99.95%. This year, 125,779 students successfully cleared their Form Six exams, marking a modest increase compared to the previous year. The Form Six results 2025 reveal steady progress, with last year’s pass rate standing at 99.92% from 103,252 successful candidates. This incremental growth highlights ongoing improvements in secondary education standards across the region.
During the announcement made on July 7, 2025, NECTA’s Executive Secretary, Dr. Said Mohammed, confirmed that only 68 candidates failed, representing a mere 0.05% of the total examinees. Despite the high success rate, NECTA demonstrated a strict commitment to exam integrity by annulling the results of 71 students found guilty of cheating. This includes 70 candidates from the Form Six exam (64 school-based and 6 private) and one from the Grade A Teacher Certificate Examination (GATCE). The cancellations were carried out under the Examination Act and related regulations to uphold the credibility of the ACSEE Results 2025.
Dr. Said emphasized that the decision aligns with legal frameworks specified under Chapter 107 of the Examination Council Act and the 2016 Examination Regulations, showcasing NECTA’s dedication to maintaining fair and transparent assessments. Candidates are encouraged to verify their results via the official NECTA results portal, ensuring easy access to their performance data.
To access the Form Six results 2025, candidates should visit the NECTA website at https://matokeo.necta.go.tz/results/2025/acsee/index.htm.
