We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Training Sales Head to lead the development and delivery of technical sales training programs. This role combines curriculum design, instructional leadership, and strategic planning to equip sales teams with the practical and technical skills needed to drive performance. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching in technical institutions, managing assembly-based training, and engaging stakeholders across departments.
Responsibilities
Curriculum Design & Delivery
• Develop and update sales training curriculum tailored to technical products and services.
• Design modular training programs including classroom instruction, hands-on assembly sessions, and field simulations.
• Ensure curriculum aligns with industry standards, product specifications, and sales objectives.
Training Execution
• Plan and lead training sessions for sales personnel across regions and product lines.
• Facilitate onboarding programs for new hires and refresher courses for existing teams.
• Incorporate technical demonstrations, role-playing, and performance assessments into training delivery.
Technical Instruction
• Apply practical experience in technical fields (e.g., engineering, manufacturing, ICT) to enhance training relevance.
• Lead assembly training workshops to build product knowledge and confidence among sales staff.
• Serve as a mentor and coach for sales trainers and technical instructors.
Strategic Planning & Budgeting
• Develop annual training plans and schedules in coordination with sales leadership.
• Prepare and manage training budgets, including resource allocation and vendor coordination.
• Monitor training effectiveness through KPIs, feedback, and post-training evaluations.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Collaborate with product managers, technical teams, and HR to align training with business goals.
• Engage with external technical institutes and certification bodies to enhance training credibility.
• Represent the training function in cross-functional meetings and strategic planning sessions.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Education, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in sales training, technical instruction, or curriculum development.
• Proven experience teaching in technical institutions or leading vocational training programs.
• Strong understanding of sales processes, customer engagement, and product positioning.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in instructional design tools and learning management systems (LMS).
• Ability to manage budgets and training logistics across multiple locations.
