JOB OPPORTUNITY Position: Accountant Location: Dar es Salaam Employment Type: Full-time We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Accountant to join our team . In this role, you will manage financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, tax compliance, and more, for both a preschool and a student transport service company. If you have a passion for numbers and financial management, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.
Payroll & Employee Payments: Ensure accurate salary payments and statutory deductions.
Invoicing & Credit Control: Manage invoicing, collections, and accounts receivable.
Tax Compliance & Reporting: Ensure timely submission of VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory returns.
Internal Controls & Audit: Implement financial controls and prepare for audits.
Operational Support: Provide financial insights for business growth and decision-making.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or equivalent certification (preferred).
At least 3-5 years of accounting experience (experience in education or transport industry is a plus).
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, Xero).
Strong knowledge of Tanzanian tax laws and financial regulations.
