VACANCY ANOUNCEMENT AT AKO GROUP Job Title: Project Manager – Shops Location: GGM, Bully, North Mara, and other operational areas Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Shops to oversee and manage our supermarket operations across multiple sites. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in supermarket management in Tanzania and be capable of ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: · Manage supermarket operations in GGM, Bully, North Mara, and other assigned areas. · Control inventory, prevent overstocking/understocking, and optimize stock levels. · Monitor and manage variances and investigate missing items. · Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective engagement and service delivery. · Implement operational standards and ensure compliance with company policies. · Lead and develop the supermarket team to achieve performance goals. Qualifications & Experience: · Minimum of 4 years’ proven experience managing supermarkets in Tanzania. · Strong knowledge of inventory control and variance management. · Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. · Ability to drive customer engagement and maintain service excellence.
